Training Analyst

Three or more years experience in analyzing and developing training requirements and designing training programs. One or more years experience in education research, planning curriculum, evaluating instructional material and teaching aids, and writing reports, manuals, and training courses. Position located in Newport News, VA.

Web Designer

Qualified candidates will have advanced computer skills and understand both computer programming and graphic design. Should be knowledgeable about major programming and design software. Experience coding the internal structure of a website, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting existing websites or adding design elements. This work requires you be very familiar with the standard computer programming languages: html, CSS and Javascript. These computer programming languages create the code structure of a website to which you then add design and text elements. The design stage requires additional software knowledge. Among the commonly-used software suites is Adobe Creative which is a collection of design programs that includes Photoshop, Flash, InDesign and Illustrator. Building, maintaining and troubleshooting websites are the primary duties of a web designer at any level. After a website is built it still must be tested and continually updated as needed. This maintenance work includes creating back-up files of important documents, solving problems in coding and updating a site to exist on a new platform, such as software for mobile devices. Solving coding issues is highly detail-oriented work and you must be very familiar with coding language in order to spot mistakes to repair and make a website work smoothly.

Project Manager

Qualified candidates will manage all aspects of ongoing projects from inception to delivery. Project Managers will lead diverse teams in a collaborative development environment. The ability to formulate, monitor, and execute detailed project plans and deliver quality-tested courseware products on schedule is critical. Excellent organizational skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The ability to formulate and execute work plans and deliver quality-tested courseware products on schedule is critical. You will have responsibility for product advancement throughout the entire development cycle including specification development, analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Customer relationship management skills are required. Some media production experience is helpful.

Prefer B.A. degree and 5+ years of project management experience; or 2+ years of program management experience.

 

Technical Integration Technician

Simulation in support of training events. Maintain, manage, test, operate, troubleshooting a system issue, then repair that issue if capable (repair, in this instance does not include hardware maintenance or repair). Upload software and patches; and generally support Main Site and all Remote Locations. Participate in In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), Planning Conferences and Workgroups; write trip reports. Good computer, writing and communication skills are essential. Good organizational skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills are required. If you are hard worker willing to learn this could be a great opportunity for you.

Prefer Computer Science or related degree and 2+ years of technical development experience. Experience with Linux OS is also a plus.

 

Instructional Designer

Qualified candidates will work closely with senior level instructional designers and subject matter experts to design instructional products for delivery over the Internet. This position must work collaboratively with other team members to determine the most effective instructional approaches. As part of a diverse development team, the Instructional Designers will be responsible for designing overall instructional strategies, preparing treatments and storyboards, and writing all of the instructional narrative. The ability to execute detailed project plans and deliver quality-tested courseware products on schedule is critical. Excellent writing skills are essential. Organizational skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

 

Courseware Developer

Courseware Developers will work closely with other team members to create interactive instructional products for delivery over the Internet. As part of a diverse development team, this position will be responsible for coding and testing products using Java, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, Flash and HTML. The ability to execute detailed project plans and deliver quality-tested courseware products on schedule is critical. Good writing skills are essential. Good organizational skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills are required.

Prefer B.A. in Computer Science or related degree and 2+ years of technical development experience. Experience using C#, .NET, JavaScript, VB Script, Flash and HTML are desired. Experience working with databases is a plus. Experience developing SCORM conformant courseware is a plus.

 

Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for testing and validation of interactive instructional products . The ability to execute detailed project plans and deliver quality-tested courseware products on schedule is critical. Good writing skills are essential. Good organizational skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills are required.
